Editorial ownership
The Price Errors Team writes and maintains the guides on priceerrors.app. The team also operates the priceerrors app, so articles that discuss or compare the app are self-promotional content. We identify that relationship and do not present our own product as an independent test winner.
How a deal is reviewed
Deal conditions vary, but a review may include checking the listing page, seller identity, displayed price, coupon language, cart behavior, shipping cost, regional restrictions, membership requirements, and whether the same offer is still available. We record only what can be observed at that time.
The label “verified” means an offer or checkout path was reviewed; it is not a promise that every reader will receive the same price or that a retailer will fulfill an order. Retailers can change listings, inventory, eligibility, or terms at any time.
Sources and attribution
For retailer rules, consumer guidance, app-store requirements, and other factual policy claims, we prefer first-party sources such as retailer help pages, official terms, government resources, Apple, and Google. Secondary sources may add context when the primary record is incomplete, but we avoid citing circular summaries as proof.
Examples without a source are labeled illustrative. We do not publish precise success rates, weekly deal volumes, retailer counts, or “best” claims unless the underlying data and methodology can be explained.
Article structure for answer engines
Guides begin with a direct answer, then explain the reasoning, steps, limitations, and related questions. Structured data summarizes only content that is visibly present on the page. FAQ answers, dates, authorship, and headings should agree with their machine-readable counterparts.
Updates and corrections
We review evergreen guides when product behavior, retailer policies, platform availability, or cited sources materially change. The visible updated date is changed only when the article receives a meaningful review or revision—not for cosmetic edits.
To report an error, email hello@priceerrors.app with the page URL, the statement in question, and a supporting source if available. We review correction requests and update material inaccuracies. When context requires it, the article will explain the correction.
Commercial and affiliate disclosure
priceerrors may earn revenue from PriceErrors PRO subscriptions. Articles may link to our iOS app or Android beta, and comparisons involving priceerrors are inherently self-promotional. That interest is disclosed in the relevant comparison.
If a page uses an affiliate link that can earn compensation, it must include a clear disclosure near the link or at the beginning of the relevant commercial section. Compensation does not purchase favorable editorial coverage. At the time this policy was published, the site’s standard editorial links were not presented as paid retailer placements.
What readers remain responsible for
Readers should verify the final price, seller, shipping charge, return policy, recurring-payment terms, and product details directly with the retailer before buying. priceerrors is not a retailer and cannot control fulfillment, refunds, or cancellations.
